 In every human being, there is deep rooted need to share. By and large are every individual enjoy being social & they feel an inherent want to connect and expand their connections.

In the past, due to geographical distances and economic concerns, connections and communications were limited. With the spread in technology, from wired devices to wireless devices communication has grown & now it’s much easier and cheap to communicate and connect with people across the world.

It can serve as an opportunistic launching platform for a new business owner, or it could be an unpreventable source of negative peer pressure for a young teen

·         It helps people to discuss ideas, post news, ask questions and share links.

·         It offers a platform to widen business contacts. Increases market research, implements marketing campaigns, delivers communications and directs interested people to specific web sites.

·         Creates desire to get Attention: Social media is consuming too much time and energy. Social media is compulsion, we compulsively check to see what has changed, what others are tweeting or do they have mentioned us in comments or liked our photos. It creates the desires to get attention.

·         False sense of connection: This promise is actually disconnecting us from being social. In real life it is very hard to measure whether someone like us or not but in social media we have finite measures, creating a false sense of connection
